ok.......so yesterday, i saw the highly anticipated movie called "Watchmen"...

I have not read the novels, i really havent even heard of it before. Before i watched it, i thought that it would be a pretty good movie, but after words......yeah...

ok...here's the bad:

Ok, i'm sorry if there's any Watchmen fans out there, but honestly, i think this movie is overrated. about 25% of this movie has action in it. I go to see an R-rated super hero movie based off of a graphic novel for the action and violence...yeah...not much in there...i mean sure, there's some really graphic-gore scenes (you get to see a man completley explode right next to his date, and a woman get shot in the leg in slow-motion).....but other than that...god it was more of a drama then action movie...

the movie was almost 3 hours long...the plot, was...way too...uhmmm...it was kinda confusing. ok so the comedian dies right? and you got rorshach trying to find his killer...thats how it starts out. after that...the plot...well......i'm not sure what it does, but i was kinda disappointed.

and, they kinda over-used the whole slow-mo fight scenes.....i mean its cool...but...i think they should of just left the slow-mo to the matrix and wanted...

AND RORSHACH DIES! I WAS SO ANGRY!



the good:

the movie had impressive visual effects. blood and gore scenes were stunning. fight scenes were sweet. rorshach was awesome...rorshach was the main positive thing i found in the movie...thats it...

thats about it....with the good...



the ugly:

ok so...there's some nudity in the movie...and not like a sex-scene, brief glance at a woman's butt...no.........................

there's a character in there, named Dr. Manhattan. He's the only watchmen with actual powers. he's some weird glowing, blue, bald guy with powers to manipulate practically anything...and dissassemble and reassemble, and destroy anything from tanks, to watches, to people...ok, sounds pretty cool right? well....uhmm...how do i say this...umm...

THE GUY IS FREAKING NAKED! EVERYTIME IT SHOWS HIM HE'S EITHER IN HIS UNDERWEAR, OR YOU SEE BLUE JUNK DANGLING AROUND. AND ITS NOT JUST TINY LITTLE GLIMPSES EITHER, FULL SCENES...FULL SCENES...THE ONLY CLOTHES THAT HE WEARS FOR BRIEF PERIODS OF TIME ARE HIS BLACK UNDIES, AND A SUIT.......THATS IT....THE REST OF THE TIME...GIANT, NAKED, BLUE GUY......

and then they also show night-owl's rear end several times too.......my god...

so...whats the vertict? unless ur familar with the watchmen, dont go watch the watchmen...i do not recommend this movie...if u still wanna see it...then rent it when it comes out..........just rent the frickin movie...

i give it a 55%

if it wasnt for rorshach, i'd give it a 15%
if he didnt get killed off, 60%
